Slay Naturals 2023 Recap + What's Next

2023 was a year filled with memories and growth. Last year, we primarily focused on expanding Slay Naturals' network. Here are a few highlights from Slay Naturals 2023!

January 2023

In January 2023, Slay Naturals hosted a Vision Board party where people came together to set their intentions for the year. This event was hosted in partnership with Cheryl's Resilient Girls. Together we collected toiletries for over 20 women and girls escaping domestic violence.

We also launched our Sip & Slay program where people designed skincare products.

February 2023

Slay Naturals participated in the Greater Goods Market at R House. With help from the founder's niece, we were able to help customers prepare for Valentine's Day at the Pied à Terre Makers Market.

In true Slay Naturals fashion, we made a stop at the University of Maryland to meet with the Startup Shell organization.

March 2023

In March, our founder shared the Slay Naturals story on the Dingman Centers Diverse Founders panel. Breonna served as a panelist along with entrepreneurs and leaders across different industries.

April 2023

In April, we welcomed Misha Bucknor to the team. Misha has been Slaying the Slay Naturals social media pages. In April, Slay Naturals was accepted into the Amazon Black Business Accelerator.

May 2023

We launched the Moisturize With Bre blog!

June 2023

Slay Naturals Vending at AFRAM, the Charles Street Promenade, and WTMD First Thursdays. We were active in June and utilized this time to meet new customers and network.

August 2023

We winded down the summer with WTMD First Thursdays. Despite weather challenges, we met several Baltimorians and expanded our network—special thanks to Made in Baltimore for the invitation to such a memorable series of events.

September 2023

We launch our Amazon Store! Thanks to the help of the Amazon Black Business Accelerator, we had a smooth launch and were able to reach customers across the country.

October 2023

In October, Slay Naturals took flight to Tulsa Oklahoma. Our founder, pitched at the VFA Founder Pitch Competition at 36 Degrees North.

November 2023

Our products sold out on Amazon during Black Friday! Our products were also featured and sold in the Made in Baltimore Holiday Store and Rash Field Popup in Baltimore's inner harbor.

December 2023

After all the hard work throughout the year, we decided to take December off to relax with our family and friends.
